Alex Fuller Law, PLLC        

Alex Fuller is the founder and President of Alex Fuller Law, PLLC. Prior to founding his own firm, Alex was a Senior Shareholder at Davis, Fuller, Jackson, Keene in Austin, and before that a Shareholder at its predecessor, Davis and Davis, PC. In total he has more than 35 years of professional legal experience in the greater Austin area, and has represented clients all over the State of Texas.

The bulk of his practice has been in health and hospital law. He has represented hospitals, health care systems, physicians, nursing homes, clinics, home care providers, group practices, and individual healthcare providers.  He handles such matters as medical malpractice defense, contracts, medical staff issues, Medicare fraud and abuse, risk management, physician contracts, regulatory matters, daily operational issues, Stark laws, HIPAA compliance, and establishment of FQHC centers. In 2009 he earned his Certification in Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association.

In recent years, Alex's practice has broadened to include non-healthcare clients. A major area has been construction law and litigation. He has also assisted healthcare and other clients to establish non-profit foundations and limited liability companies, resolved landlord/tenant disputes, represented clients before the Public Utility Commission, and assisted individuals with documents such as wills, power-of-attorney, and medical directives.

Alex received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Bates College of Law. His BA, with honors, was earned at the University of Texas at Austin, and his previous education included earning his GCE at Mapps College in St. Phillips, Barbados.

He is a member of the

               Williamson County Bar Association

               Austin Bar Association 

 and serves on the City of Georgetown Planning and Zoning Commission.

He has been honored with membership in the College of the State Bar of Texas, and has earned an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

In his free time, Alex enjoys fishing, especially on the Rio Negro in Brazil, and working on his ranch near Liberty Hill, where he and his wife raise Boer goats.
